After a summer of anticipation, the Columbia field hockey team finally has a home. When Columbia decided to renovate the football field at Wien Stadium, the field hockey team jumped at the chance to obtain a field of its own. In past years, the team has felt disconnected from Columbia Athletics while having to play on a softball field at Riverbank State Park.

WILKES-BARRE The Kings field hockey team won a program-best 16th game and Lindsay Sabo and Debbie Wychock each became the first players in school history to reach 50 points in a season, as the Lady Monarchs posted a 6-0 victory over Cedar Crest Thursday at Betzler Fields.

The Field Hockey team defeated Orange yesterday 3-0. Goals were scored by Molly McGann, Ashley Deighan and Danelle Miller. Tara Thompson had the shutout in the goal.

FIELD HOCKEY - The only people who believed in the Delran Bears this fall were the only people who mattered. Never known as a field hockey power, the Bears advanced to their first sectional title game and put Delran squarely on the field hockey map.

Women's field hockey lost a close game to Lehigh, 3-2, Oct. 25 at Buckley Field. The loss drops the Dragons to 6-11; Lehigh improved to 5-11.
